Valve Sound System @ The Mass, Brixton....OMG!

Firstly, I'm kinda annoyed as I missed Dillinja's set (and I've been dying to see him play for years)

But man, the Sound System was immense!!!
The whole building (The Mass, St. Matthews Church, Brixton) was physically shaking. People were buying drinks from the bar and the second they put them down, the basslines were sending glasses smashing onto the floor! (it was THAT intense; I swear I counted at least 50 speakers?!)
I haven't felt basslines like that since going to Reggae Sound System dances when I was younger! Some serious power going on (Jah Shaka-style business!)
Luckily I did catch Lemon D's set and hearing him play "Capone - Jah" b2b with "Dillinja - Why?" simultaneously had my face smiling and my chest pounding!

Another highlight was Grooverider's set, hearing him drop "Future Prophecies - Nightmare Walking" was epic! (it was like the sound of a ferocious beast tearing the building apart!)

What a night. My chest really felt it though. And my hearing still hasn't fully returned, 2 days later...!

Debut 12" single "Miracle - Polluted Beach" released on Beeswax

After nearly a year since being signed (wow, the Drum & Bass vinyl release process really is THAT long!), "Miracle - Polluted Beach" on Beeswax Records is now in your stores!

Featuring a hard amen remix by my alter-ego Menacer on the flip, this 12" is definitely one for the dancefloors this summer!

Dillinja - Cybotron album FINALLY released!!!

I don't think I've ever waited this long for album before. In fact the last time I got this excited about product was probably when Street Fighter II came out!

But to me, Dillinja is to Drum & Bass what Street Fighter is to videogames:
A TRUE LEGEND, basically.

And I liked it so much that I bought it on before vinyl AND CD.

My favourite tracks?

Vinyl:
Why?
CD:

*CD only track

Buy it, turn the volume up and put the bass on max!

"Miracle - Polluted Beach" Press release

Miracle - Polluted Beach / Polluted Beach (Menacer Remix) - Beeswax (BWA013)

"Miracle's first ever release on the label, and what an introduction this young producer fresh on the scene. His music has attracted many from all over the globe. Some describe him as the next DILLINJA due to his love for the Amen break, and the way he blends his arrangement.

Polluted Beach has many styles rolled into one. Imagine paradise in the tropics, laying back on a sunny beach, listening to the rhythms of the steel bands' jamming in the background, the sea waves crashing against the sandy coast while you blaze up on a large one!!!
Basically the perfect session for Drum & Bass in the sun. As the additional drum works are presented with sub low bass, you get to feel the story line of the track. Both pleasant and hard hitting rifts, a true guaranteed roller for all.

Polluted Beach Remix. This mix on the flip is more for the dancefloor, the Amen "Menacer" remix. The Dillinja style flava is well noticed in this mix, and it also has the same kind of story piece that followed on from the previous mix. This is the more fierce mix, the more demanding out of the two. The constant sound of seagulls dying on the beach after their oil bath disaster, echoes in the background, adding to it's soulful violin's, steel pans, and water effects.

DJ support: Grooverider, Randall, Kenny Ken, Grooverider, Bailey, Flight, Wacko, A-Sides, Storm, Kontrol.

Do not miss out on this exclusive release. This limited release is set to be an anthem.

MAIN FEATURED TRACK SELECTED FOR ESSENTIAL FESTIVAL ADVERT (Played on all radio stations nationwide)".
